Ms. Bedsole completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin and received her Master’s Degree from the nationally accredited Family Therapy training program at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. She also completed a twelve month internship at UT Mental Sciences Institute Family Studies Center in the Texas Medical Center. Ms. Bedsole is licensed by the State of Texas as a Marriage and Family Therapist and as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has been practicing as a licensed clinician in the Houston are for over 18 years. She has volunteered in many community organizations, including Bo’s Place, a grief program for children and their families, UT MD Anderson Cancer Center, and the Hospice at the Texas Medical Center.

Ms. Bedsole’s approach to therapy includes an eclectic theoretical perspective that takes into consideration the unique and particular needs and circumstances of each client and/or family. She sees therapy as a collaborative process enhanced by the therapeutic relationship between client and clinician. She offers her clients a place of respect, safety and support where they can find assistance in improving their lives and their relationships. She works from a strengths perspective, assisting clients in identifying their inherent strengths and resources in the process of resolving and managing their unique challenges in life. Ms. Bedsole’s hope is that therapy will guide, support and encourage clients in managing their difficulties and in making positive and permanent changes in their lives.
